A former fire chief who volunteers as a Florida town’s Santa was arrested on child porn charges on July 13. Sixty-two-year-old James Jude Silverstone stands accused of amassing an illicit collection of over 1,500 images of child pornography. Silverstone was also the former commissioner and fire chief in the Lauderdale-by-the-Sea community.
