Holosound [Journey Series]

Welcome back to the Magician On Duty Journey Series! On this edition we welcome @holosoundnyc Holosound (aka Alex Fish) is a DJ/Producer from NYC that’s been at it since 2004. The past decade+ has seen him dot the globe with appearances in over 23 countries, every major city in the US and release records and remixes on labels like Nurvous, HNQO’s Playperview, Glasgow Underground and (a long time ago) Ultra. His sound has evolved over the years but has always maintained a subversively sexy vibe that’s built atop a bed of low slung deep and afro house with a sweet spot for melodic techno. Notable gigs in the last few years include Gazgolder in Moscow, D-Edge in Sao Paolo, Tulum, Helsinki, Rio De Janeiro, Dubai, Toronto, Bogota, Kazantip festival for Flying Circus, London, Medellin, Panama City, San Jose Costa Rica, Quito, Piknic Électronik in Montreal as well as appearances at Burning Man for Robot Heart and many more. He is a resident of the talented Bespoke Musik crew and when in New York can often be found playing for their events or at the newly reopened Gospel in Soho.
